We are partnering with aschool in the state of South Carolina areato find afull-time, remote School Psychologist for the full school year. We are looking for a knowledgeable and caring candidate who meets the requirements below to join our Special Education team!
Position Details:
- Current School Year
- Full-Time: up to 40 hours per week
- Remote
- Caseload: K - 12th grade, details will be discussed during the interview process
- Pay Range: $30 -$45per hour, depending on previous experience
Requirements:
- Must have an active School Psychology South Carolina License and School Psychologist License in state of residency, if applicable
- Must have Masters Degree or Doctoral Level Degree in School Psychology
- Must be licensed through the South Carolina Board
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
General Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess cognitive, emotional, and social functioning.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to address the psychological and educational needs of students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive and effective learning environments.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and services.
- Advocate for the mental health and educational needs of students within the school and the wider community.
- Provide crisis intervention and support in response to critical incidents affecting the school community.
